The Stare

JC had sth to say about 'curious stare' he received in SH. Well I guess his perfect skin is the culprit. I have sth to say about stares too.
Weeks ago, my colleague brought me to a party. We had to attend the party because it was work-related. He has no choice but to go with me because it is his responsibility. (I guess he wouldn't have done so, if given a choice)
So what kind of stare could I expect in such occasion? - Well, it was just the don't-you-try-steal-my-best-friend's-boyfriend stare. I just don't get it! I am harmless at the least if not friendly. I was totally pissed off and have to make a long distance call after midnight to tell my fren how that hurt my feeling. I couldn't sleep that night.

Not My Day? Not Her day?

Gal: Can I have a few minutes of your time?
Me: What about?
Gal: I am calling from xxx co. from China. We have just setup our office here.
Me: Right. Then?
Gal: Do you use any facial care products?
Me: Yes.
Gal: What brands?
Me: There are several of them.
Gal: Would TV ads influence you into buying the products?
Me: No. … Sorry, I have to go for a meeting.
Gal: What?
Me: Sorry, I have to go for a meeting.
Gal: 你很浪费人家时间呐！(hang up the phone)
Me: (Stunned) (laughing) (hang up the phone).

Complexion

I know this is gross but I have to say it.
I was driving very slowly in the heavy traffic. I noticed 2 African ladies walking along the pavement. One of them was in baby-tee and white shorts. Wearing white pants, short or long, usually display a sense of elegance. There are also inconvenience or problems come with it.
I wonder if her panties are black in color or she wasn’t wearing any.

今早带父母去吃襄豆腐，是的，是因为今天是母亲节。其实平时都有和妈妈去吃早餐，但今天就给了一个理由，说是为了庆祝母亲节,也为了避开晚餐时间在各个餐馆里必然出现的人潮。
老实说，实在有点受不了，为什么呢？翻开报章，实在有太多应节的报道和文章。

其实我又这些想法，在某种程度上，是受了妈妈的影响，我们都不注重节日，即便是生日也没什么大不了。
