Carnival Sales
Almost 6 hours shopping - that's what I did last Sunday.
Hadn't done that for quite some time already. Really need some new clothes for my wardrobe. It is such a frustration not knowing what to wear for the day.
Learned sth new:
- Shopping in the old wing in 1u is a better idea. The new wing is for the wealthy ones.- Carnival sales is the best time to go shopping. You can get atleast 15% off the normal price. So timing is important.
- Shopping improves the quality of ur sleep. I slept sooo well yesterday.
- Department stores like Parkson offers more discounts. Credit/charge card company like Amex give you another 5% discount if you pay with Amex. But I didn't enjoy that extra discount because the store just don't have my size.

sometimes shopping could be very frustrating..
1. the sudden come-from-nowhere crowd looking at the same merchandise, and you think you always look better than them; so you give up the merchandise cos you do not want to disgracefully bump into them one day on the street wearing the same clothes
2. you finally found something you quite like but there is always two size smaller and three size larger and none of you size; you wanna still have a try, after a 15min queue for the fitting room and you find out that fact never lie
3. your sense of fashion trend notice that the discounted items are the one you should wear 1 year ago, and those nicer and trendier ones are all the time normal priced
4. you finally bought something cheap but you don't really like, so that you don't go home empty handed; the next morning when you excitedly put this on and about ready to work, you past through your mirror and decided to dump it aside at the corner of your wardrobe and stick back to your old ones..
after SK, you are the only one who can talk about shopping intelligence :D
why dont you both write a book about that!!?? and again i am serious
i havent done any shopping for a while now... i think since i came back from malaysia (and in fact back then i didnt do any shopping... with reasons you know lah :)) but i guess i dont have that kind of urge, and in fact difficult to find clothes that look good on me lah :) so why spend the time to look for something that is impossible ha ha ha ha
